Ntcore 4gb Patch Download
Hi guys, I just downloaded the 4GB patch that allows you to run 32 bit applications on a 64 bit system and allow that program to use more memory. Well it said that in order to do this, you must run the patch's .exe and locate the desired executable for the program that you want to use more memory for. In this case, Oblivion. Well I use the OBSE .exe to run the game, so should I apply the change to both Oblivion's .exe and OBSE, or just Oblivion?
Download link for the NTCore 4GB patch, here. TLDR: I applied a patch I found on the bug section of the wiki to all the exe's in LNP and the game stopped crashing as much. Hopefully it'll help your session too. Dwarf Fortress.exe is the only thing you need to patch.-PeridexisErrant.

4gb Patch Download
- Since patch 1.17/2.12/3.8/4.5/5.2/ the Sims 3 already supports Large Address Aware for 64 bit systems.0
- There is absolutely no need to do this. TS3 on Windows has been Large Address Aware (LAA) and able to utilize up to 4GB (practically speaking, really ~3.7GB) of RAM ever since Patch 1.18 or so -- the one that came out with LateNite. If your game is not able to utilize more than 2 GB on Windows by itself, then it is not patched properly.

For Mac users, there is no solution to get the game to utilize more than 2 GB.

I'm pretty sure that TS3 when patched is LAA even for 32-bit operating systems though. The player just stands a greater chance of running out of RAM overall since their entire system can only utilize 4GB total -- including the game, their operating system, and any other processes that might be running.
